The EBSG WorkSmart Solution ["WorkSmart"] is a highly functional and multi-purpose application designed to improve both the efficiency and the effectiveness of each department within which it is deployed.

WorkSmart can be deployed in its simplest form as a departmental or organizational 'Contact Management & Activity Tracking' solution. Alternatively, departmentally specific functionality can be rolled out to provide a more comprehensive and specific departmental solution, eg 'Customer Service Management'.

Alternatively again, a single solution spanning multiple departments can be deployed to provide a fully comprehensive and centralized 'Customer Relationship & Operations Management' solution.

1. Establishment of single, central 'Contacts Database' for storing both 'internal' and 'external' contact profiles, which relate to each and every Group Company, Internal Department, 3rd Party Organization and Individual with which or with whom your department/workgroup interacts

2. Provision of facilities to enable the establishment of a detailed 'Departmental Memory' of all internal and eternal communications and interactions via the provision of comprehensive time and activity tracking facilities

3. Provision of tight integration with the generic Lotus Notes email, calendar and scheduler facilities, extending the functionality therein, WITHOUT modification of the standard Notes mail file in any way whatsoever

4. Provision of departmentally specific functionality [as required] to support their generic operations, eg for Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Projects and Customer Service departments

The DataFinder dB - The WorkSmart DataFinder dB is an advanced, multi-threaded and cross-database FT Search Tool that facilitates far more powerful and intuitive identification and retrieval of relevant data than the generic Notes full text searching facilities provide. Capable of searching across multiple databases simultaneously and returning all search results [irrespective of location] to a single results screen, the DataFinder module works in conjunction with the Archive Management module to optimise system scalability and performance. 

The Archive Management dB - The WorkSmart Archive Management dB facilitates the creation of any number of System Archive dB's and works in conjunction with the DataFinder module to ensure that wherever the data actually resides, it can always be located, retrieved and restored as required. Of particular use and relevance for the creation of periodic "Applicant dB" archives this module complements the DataFinder dB perfectly to ensure that system performance is always optimized. 

Office Suite Integration Options - WorkSmart currently supports integration with any one or more of the market leading Office Suite solutions from Microsoft, Lotus and OpenOffice.org for high quality standard document generation. Standard template documents are available for each office suite and tools available for custom document generation. 

Graphical Reporting Options - WorkSmart currently supports intergation with any one or more of the market leading graphical reporting solutions that have either been designed specifically for use with Notes/Domino applications or are commonly used in that context: i. IntelliPRINT Reporter, ii. INTEGRA for Notes & iii. Microsoft Exel. Standard report templates are available for reporting option and comprehensive tools available for custom report generation.
